    Deepak is forging a broad civil and commercial litigation practice in Hong Kong, ranging from matrimonial to property, trusts, inheritance and shareholder disputes. He possesses a wealth of experience in cases involving complex offshore structures and trusts, as well as regularly acting in private client cases involving ultra high net worth and high profile individuals.

    Deepak is especially renowned for his expertise in matrimonial finance, and he is one of the leading barristers practising in such cases in both Hong Kong and England.

    He also has a keen interest in equity, restitution and conflict of laws.

    Deepak has appeared at all levels in matrimonial finance proceedings in England, including in the House of Lords and in the UK Supreme Court, where he has acted in some of the biggest and most complicated matrimonial cases. He has appeared in numerous landmark decisions, such as McFarlane; Charman; Crossley; Granatino v Radmacher; Juffali; Gray v Work; and Sharp.

    Deepak also has an unrivalled reputation in multi-jurisdictional matrimonial cases. As a result of his expertise in international matters, Deepak has been appointed to the UK Lord Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Private International Law, which is chaired by Lord Mance, a former Justice of the UK Supreme Court.

    Deepak continues to be recommended in a number of legal directories, including the Chambers Greater China Region Guide, the Legal 500 Asia Pacific Guide, the Doyles Guide, the Chambers UK Bar Guide, the Legal 500 UK Guide, and the UK Spears Family Law Index.
