Deepak is forging a broad civil and commercial litigation practice in Hong Kong, ranging from matrimonial to property, trusts, inheritance and shareholder disputes. He possesses a wealth of experience in cases involving complex offshore structures and trusts, as well as acting in private client cases involving ultra high net worth and high profile individuals.
Deepak is especially renowned for his expertise in matrimonial finance. He is one of the leading barristers practising in that area in both Hong Kong and England, and he has acted in some of the biggest and most complex of such cases.
He also has a keen interest in equity, restitution and conflict of laws.
As a result of his expertise in international matters, Deepak has been appointed to the UK Lord Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Private International Law, which is chaired by Lord Mance, a former Justice of the UK Supreme Court.
