  • Profile

    Raymond Leung specializes in personal injuries, in particular, medico-legal cases. In 2017, he acted as leading counsel on fiat in the prosecution of a case of “Manslaughter by Gross Negligence” in which a patient died as a result of negligent medical treatment involving purported cellular therapy to boost immunity (HCCC 437/2015).

    He was also leading counsel in the recent case of Cheung Hay Shing v. Dr. Pang Ka Hung [2026] HKCFI 2386 involving the risks of neurological complications attendant upon microscopic brain surgery wherein the High Court adopted and explained the remit and application of the Montgomery principle governing informed consent for medical treatment.

    He also has a special interest in human rights and equal opportunities laws.
