    Before his appointment as Secretary for Justice in 2005, Mr. Wong Yan Lung SC had a broad civil and commercial practice including land, trust, company and defamation. He also had a substantial public law practice covering town planning, land compensation and other constitutional issues.

    Since resuming private practice with Temple Chambers in 2013, Mr. Wong has continued to specialize in civil commercial work, and has been taking on judicial review cases with high constitutional importance.

    Mr. Wong has been instructed in arbitration cases involving disputes in substantial investment projects. He has given advice to the Government and other public bodies such as the Communications Authority on regulatory issues. He has also conducted mediation in family shareholders disputes.
