Alex joined Chambers in 2025 after completing pupillage with Ms Sara Tong SC, Mr Tim Parker (now Mr Tim Parker SC), Mr S.W. Lee, and Mr Byron Chiu. He is developing a broad civil practice and accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work. Since commencing practice, Alex has experience appearing in the High Court, including as sole advocate. He has also been led in a trial, representing an entity in the Cheung Kong Group.
Alex graduated with an LLB (First Class) from the University of Hong Kong, winning prizes and scholarships including the Betty Ho Prize in Law and the Hong Kong Trustees Association Prize in Equity and Trusts. He then obtained the BCL (Distinction) from Oxford (fully funded by the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence and the China Oxford Scholarship), where he was awarded the Law Faculty Prize in Dissertations.
Alex has published in peer-reviewed journals. His publication has been cited by the UK Supreme Court. He has also spoken at CPD and other talks.
Alex is a Bar Scholar.
